Update
Well, Dot stayed at the vet's last night. She had a fever when we brought her in. They kept her, did blood work and xrays. They also gave her an iv to rehydrate her and to give her some meds (for pain, antibiotics, and to bring the fever down).
All the blood work and x-rays came back clean. The vet thinks that there is something wrong at the base of her tail. I don't know if I believe that...I think Dot is just pissy right now.
We should be able to pick her up today after work. R and I are both going to try and leave early.

We and she thank you :)
She gets to come home today, but she still isn't eating (they are force feeding her). They think it might be because she is at the vet, and she will start to eat at home.
