So, update on my life so far.
Well. I am taking two courses this summer for my Library Technicians program. They are going ok, but I am bored. I need more. So hopefully I will be able to take a bunch in the Fall, and Winter. Hypothetically if I do 5-Fall'08, 5-Winter'08, and 4 (with a placement)-Summer'09, I can be finished my program by the end of summer 2009. WOOHOO!

I have also learned that my school has an agreement with Charles Sturt University (online). I can do my Bachelors in Applied Science in 3.5 years (instead of 6) and then go onto my Masters of Applied Science, and have that done in 2 years. This is all part time, rather than full time. I am super excited.

I seem to have lost my will to craft. I really do want to, but I just can't work up the energy to. I think part of the problem is that I just have no room to work. I have curtains I would like to make for my co-worker D, but I can't find the floor space to cut that material out! We have been thinking about taking over the 2nd bedroom in the basement (right now R's mom uses it as storage). If we could have it that both of our craft areas could go in there, and then I could have an eating area again (now covered with R's plane). I really hope I can get my mojo back!

I think that this is going to be the summer of movies. So far we have seen:

Get Smart (funny)
Don't mess with the Zohan (don't waste your money)
Wanted (very good)
Hancock (GO SEE IT NOW)

And we want to see

Wall-e (I really want to see, but will probably end up being a renter)
Kung Fu Panda (probably a renter)
Hell-Boy II
The Dark Knight (of course!)
The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor
Swing Vote
Death Race
Babylon A.D.

I doubt we will get to see them all...but those are the ones that I want to see.

What else is happening in my life....hmm....The cats are good. Dash is turning into a closet cuddler (as in when Dot isn't around...or I am sitting on the toilet! lol). Dot has been an attention whore since she got back from the vet. Probably a "Don't make me go back" effort on her part. They are both on diet food cause they are both fat. The skinny black cat we once had is now a tubby.

I will try to get some pics up at some point...although who am I kidding

Our new kitchen

R and I were on holidays in mid June. We decided to paint and do the backsplash of our kitchen. Here are some before and after.

So this dude made this video of all the places he went. He did a dance in each country/place and then put the video together. Stride gum saw his 2007 video, and was like, k, well send you out and you do this all again. We pay.

She's home!!!!

Well, we finally brough her home!! She has a bit of a fever still, but the vet thinks that could have just been stress of being at the vet. Like her pretty pink band-aid? She struggled a bit when they took the IV out....

She just keeps wandering around the apartment. Dash keeps following around behind her. She has eaten so we are happy!

2nd update

Well, her fever came back. So she stays at the vet for another night. :( And she still wasn't eating (they were force feeding....whenever she hissed at them, they would shoot soft food into her mouth...we think she was just being lazy!)

We got to go and visit her though and she ate out of my hand :D The vet assistant was amazed because Dot was eating food off of her blanket (I think she was having problems eating out of the bowl with the "cast" on her paw holding her IV in).

She seems so much better today and she definitely wasn't as hot as when we brought her in. Let's hope her fever stays down and we can bring her home tomorrow.
