My co-worker asked me if I would be able to sew up some curtains for him. He had purchased the fabric at a vintage/antique store. He had used some of it to recover a couple of chairs and this was the leftover. Originally he had planned to use them on a closet. He had taken the door off, and just wanted something to hang on either side of the doorway.
When he saw them he wondered if they would be put to use better in his living room. He went home that night and voila!

So, I have finished my last baby blanket for a while.

It looks green and blue, but the light color is actually lilac, for their baby girl to be born in July.

I finished my first crochet project.  I made a baby blanket for a friend I haven't seen since last September.  She is coming to work today (she used to work there) for our annual pot luck.

Here is the blanket.  I based it off of the Tiramisu Blanket by Posie Gets Cozy.  I was pointed to the pattern by lulubird6.

I am really proud of this blanket.  I absolutely love it.  I <3 crochet! lol

This only took be a couple of weeks to do, and I was only working on it off and on.  I am not sure if you can see in the pictures or not, but the ribbon has little green dashes running the length of it.
