Gasoline is currently averaging $3.15/gallon in the U.S. and prices are only going to rise this spring. Wherever you live: Does the price of gasoline affect how you use your car?

K, don't even complain to me about your prices.  1 gallon = 3.785212 litres. So, our gas price ($1.07) times the number of litres in a gallon - $4.05 Canadian.  Convert that into US prices and that is $4.16.

So shut up.

I am trying to use transit more and to plan my trips (for errands, etc) so we don't have to drive as much.

Which web browser do you use? What would you change about it, if anything?

What are 10 things you've done that other people probably haven't?

1. Performed CPR on my mom.

2. Was "rescued" by search and rescue while living in B.C. My dad and I went out hunting (I was there to make sure he didn't get anything...lol) and our little Ford Ranger got stuck in a mud puddle.  We were stuck there over night.  It was actually fun.  We played tic-tac-toe with a bullet.  For those not in the know, the tip of a bullet is lead, so we used it as a pencil.

3. Didn't go to the washroom for over 26 hours.  This happened during #2.  I need a toilet.  There wasn't one.  I didn't go.

4. I used to do synchronized swimming.

5. I have had surgery on my eyes twice.  I was cross-eyed as a baby and then later had a lazy eye (which has come back unfortunately).

6. You hear about it but I don't think many do it, my husband and I got married in Vegas.  Just the two of us. Not a typical elopement thought since we told everyone what we were doing.

7.  I was hit in the head with a baseball bat in grade 2.  Hmm...I wonder if that explains...anyways I digress.  It hurt.  I still have a lump on my forehead where my skulls is mishapen.

8. Saved a child from drowing in my kiddie pool.  I was like 4 or 5 and a friend fell into the pool head first and I yelled for help.  I count that as saving.

Yes I have.  Jen (from work) and I are going as library superheros.

Sorry Jen, I just can't keep it secret no more....although how many people from work will read this huh?

She will be Super Librarian.

And I shall be Dewey Defender, her sidekick.

(Dewey being the dewey decimal system.....how you find books in the library? yeah anyways....lol)

I am sure I will be posting pics of my costume.  I have started to make it.  I am excited :D

I went to my friends wedding, Donald and Alex.  They got married August 5, 2006.

And no, I was not in the wedding.
